Cinnamon Roll Poke Cake

Good Morning, friends!
Let’s show Monday who’s boss!

How was your weekend?
Anything stand out?

I’m happy to report that all around here was an ordinary weekend – which always makes me feel like it was an extraordinary weekend because all went well with no drama.

Brunswick Chicken Stew

Wednesday frosty greetings, friends!

Brrrrrr it’s cold here and it’s about to get colder and more serious.

3 to 6 inches of snow + ice are predicted from today for the next 2 days right here in my little neck of the woods.

Less than excited – but what do ya do?
Deal with it is what.  ha

Fun line-up of laughs, inspiration and thoughts to share today on this Wednesday January 8th!

Ultimate Creamy Potato Soup

Greetings Friends,

And happy Monday January 6, 2025.

How was your weekend?

Mine pretty chill – as in chilly!

Temps were scheduled to drop into the 20’s Sunday night – and weather man says it’s gonna stay this way for at least a week – so I did all the necessary things a homeowner should do:  cover/secure the outside faucets, drip faucets, bring any can’t take the brrrr perish plants in or cover those I can’t bring in – because they’re in the ground – with big sheets and secure their cover ups,  shop for staples at the grocery store so I don’t have to get out,  secure lawn furniture and umbrellas, etc … ya get the picture.

Anyway, all is accomplished and I feel good about it.

Beef Tallow Skin Balm

Greetings friends!

How’s the new year going 3 days in?
I have to keep reminding myself that it’s ’25 not ’24 any longer.
Probably gonna take a couple more days before it sinks all the way in.

Mine is going well — save the temps have sure done a fast, cold dive.  ha
No surprise.  It’s that time of year.

Holiday French Toast

Friday Greetings, friends.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!
What. What. What?

Only 5 days until Christmas.
Crazy true!

Big time Christmas Day countdown is ON.

Trust your week has been full of joy and laughter and getting all the last “little things” race ready for the most magical time/day of the year.
