I noticed them immediately. They were classy, cool, pretty.
And today Stacy’s sharing the inside scoop of how we can all find them – or at least try – to to score a pair or two.
Thanks, Stac, for keeping is in the fashion-cool know!
QUICK QUESTION
What do I think is something that will always be in fashion no matter how much time passes?
My Answer – favorite pair of worn and loved cowboy boots!
However, after reading Stacy’s column – there are 2 for me now – boots and wedge Clarks sandals!

STACY’S WORLD
ELEVATE WITH COMFORT
Hi There!
You do not have to sacrifice style for comfort — especially when it comes to foot wear.
The right pair of shoes can elevate your look, while keeping your feet feeling fabulous all day long.
Consider platform wedges with a modest heel. They offer the height boost of heels with the stability and support of flats.
Black is a versatile choice that can transition easily from day to night.
PIC 1
Shows how switching out your tennis shoes for wedges — just jazzed up those black leggings into a “Out on the Town Evening Look!”
Also, notice how the toe of the shoe is pointed upward. This is very important to keep your foot balanced so that all your weight is not on the ball of your foot. No matter what wedge you choose — make sure that the toe is curved upward.
PIC 2
Speaking of what wedge you choose … my absolute favorite, most comfortable wedge sandal is the Clarks Annadel Eirwyn cork wedge. I found on Amazon.
I discovered this Clarks wedge about 10 years ago. Mine had metallic leather straps. I literally wore this pair of shoes 2-3 times a week for years at work. I could work all day in these shoes with no pain at all.
I had these shoes on one day at my friend, Jane’s. She rushed up to me and asked if my shoes were Clarks.
I said, “Yes, and they are my favorite shoes.”
She wanted to know where I bought them because she also had this particular style of shoe at one time and also loved them.
I told her that I had had them for years and needed to get another pair because mine were wearing out.
Jane then informed me that Clarks had discontinued this particular style of wedge. I panicked a little bit and thought I might cry.
Many years later I was at this Outlet Mall that had a Clarks Outlet store. I decided to take a look around. All the shoes were 2 pair for $89 – which is a great price for Clarks shoes.
My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I spotted a whole section of my beloved wedges. They even had the same metallic pair I wore for years!
The salesperson told me Clarks had recently brought back this pair by popular demand. Customers actually contacted the Clarks manufacturer and request that they bring this shoe back.

I love these shoes so much that I bought 4 pair. The shoe on my right foot is the metallic pair I replaced. The two shoes in the middle have the same cork wedge but a different style on the top and are also comfy. But … there is something about the two criss-cross straps that conform to your foot and give you a little piece of wiggle room that make them a little more comfortable. To me.
I should probably invest in another pair or 4. Haha! In case Clarks discontinues them again. This shoe will never go out of style!
If you are considering investing in some wedges — I highly recommend you check these out.

I have shared with you all in the past about ** NU SKIN SUNRIGHT INSTA GLOW TANNING GEL **
However, I discovered this year that you need to invest in a new tube every year. I had about a third of a tube left over from last year that I finished up before opening up my new tube.
The old tube still tanned me, but did not seem to be as dark of a tan.
I thought it was my imagination until I opened my new tube and used it. (My leg looks a little weird in this picture because of the angle I took it from.)
I noticed while sitting out on my deck the next day — after applying the new gel that my legs were definitely darker than when I used the older tube. I also noticed that I forgot to rub some down on my foot, which I usually do.
You can see how well this works because my leg is tan and my foot is white. LOL.

QUICK QUESTION
WHAT’S SOMETHING THAT WILL ALWAYS BE
IN FASHION, NO MATTER HOW MUCH TIME PASSES?
QUEEN, THE BLIND HORSE
BY MARTY MARTIN
One of the favorite stories told by my mother was her childhood memory of Mrs. McGee and her blind horse, Queen.
I liked hearing this story because it was the only horse I had ever heard about that was blind. And my mother was the only person I knew that had seen a blind horse doing something so unusual.
Mom’s neighbors, the McGees, worked on a farm in Missouri owned by Mr. Hornback. The family lived in a little three-room house on the back of the property.
The McGees had 5 children and as mother said, “We all liked the McGee family and often as children we would walk across the pasture to their home. They were a happy family and never spoke a cross word to one another. Everything was neat and clean and Mrs. McGee served us candy. We all had fun.”
Mr. Hornback owned a horse named Queen. It had lost its eyesight so he gave it to Mrs McGee.
Mrs. McGee loved Queen and the horse loved her.
The horse did things for Mrs. McGee that no one else could do. She even taught Queen to — once again — pull a buggy.
Queen became the McGees only means of transportation.
Mrs. McGee never complained about the horse being blind.
Once a month, Mrs. McGee would go to town to buy groceries. Mother said Mrs. McGee and Queen would pass in front of their farm house. If Queen would hear a frightening sound along the way, she could get skittish.
Mrs. McGee would climb out of the buggy and walk up to Queen. Mrs. McGee would place her hand on Queen, and begin speaking in her quiet familiar voice. When Queen settled down, regained her trust, Mrs. McGee would climb back into the buggy and down the road they would go with blind Queen depending fully on the reins and words of Mrs. McGee.
I think back to the times in my life when I’ve felt like Queen. I couldn’t see which way to go. I was afraid, full of tears, and bending beneath my load. My sanity was God Himself. The pages of Psalms and Isaiah are worn thin in my Bible drawing near to one another.
“I will lead the blind,” says the Lord,” by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them. So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ~ Isaiah 41:10, 42:16

BLT with chicken and lime. Yums! Fun Fun read!
Love the story of Queen! God certainly leads the blind. In a way, aren’t we all?
Cute, cute shoes! Stacy’s finds are always wonderful! Checking them out in just a few. . .
Always in fashion? First thought – little black dress.
Super sweet story about Queen and super true message.
Lime mayonnaise for the chicken BLT – what a wonderful idea! And the chicken sounds fabulous!
Happy weekend!
Another great Friday blog❤️
Stacy’s wedge shoes have certainly found a comfortable home on her feet.
The trick, I’m assuming, is wearing wedges with confidence vs. young girls who haven’t quite mastered it yet.
I still recall when I wore my first high heels. Mercy me, my family is still laughing about it.
As for today’s column concerning Queen the blind horse, wouldn’t it be awesome to have a Youtube video of Mrs.McGee, climbing down from the buggy with that sweet mother’s voice, “I’ve got you covered, sweet heart.”
