POTATO AND LEEK SOUP RECIPE, HOMEMADE CHILI POWDER, WINTER SQUASH, DOLLY PARTON $1M LOVE GIFT
Hello Friends –
It’s a New Monday
New Week
New Goals
New Attitude
Let’s Do This!
Was your weekend swell?
Mine was great.
Hung out with a friend on Saturday who treated me to lunch at this super cool little spot in Dallas for lunch by the name – get ready – Rodeo Goat.
Yep, Rodeo Goat.
** check out the vibe/menu here **
The atmosphere was absolutely spot on creative from the stock gates surrounding the entrance to the patio to the President pics on the wall to their mascot goat sporting a child sized saddle to the surround sound music piped in to the laid back, happy people who worked there greeting all who entered, Welcome In! to the menu which was triple hard to decide what to choose for my lunch to the fun backstory of their name Rodeo Goat.
I ended up choosing Hot Bastard. It was huge and did not disappoint. Had a kick of spice and beautifully presented.
Not only did I enjoy half of the burger for lunch but bundled up the other half and brought it home for dinner and enjoyed it a 2nd time around!
It was memorable.
I will so go back again and again now that I’ve been introduced.
Should you live in the DFW area or visit, I strongly suggest to go and experience the experience of Rodeo Goat.
Or if you’re not in this neck of the woods, absolutely recreate burgers at home from their clever, innovative menu.
I love places like this!
Not a dime-a-dozen but One-in-a-million.
I totally own — I’m not easily blown over/ impressed by restaurants — but this place impressively blew me away.
I’m a forever FAN!
Clap Clap Rodeo Goat creatives. Hat tip!

LIPSTICK, MIRRORS
AND TEENAGE GIRLS
And the story goes …
According to a news report, a certain high school in Streatham, London was posed with a unique problem.
A number of girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the high school bathroom.
That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick, they would press their lips to the bathroom mirror, leaving dozens of lipstick lip prints.
Every evening, the maintenance man would remove them. But the next day – the girls would do it all over again and plant their lipstick lip prints on the mirrors.
Finally, the principal decided that something had to be done, so she called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man.
The principal explained that all of these lip prints were causing a less than desirable problem for the maintenance man, who had to clean the mirrors every night.
To demonstrate how difficult it was to clean the mirrors, the principal asked the janitor to show them all his cleaning method.
He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet and cleaned the mirror with it.
Since that afternoon, there have been no more lip prints on the mirror.
There are teachers and then there are — educators…
HaHa…The Lipstick article!!!

You triggered me down memory lane on your POTATO SOUP. I love potato soup anyway you want to fix it. I recall my mom fixing it for Dad as he loved it for supper especially fall and winter. I think Mom’s ingredients were something like this: “Boil a few chopped potatoes until nearly tender. Add chopped celery, onion salt, and table salt and continue boiling gently until tender. Drain the liquid down to a few cups.. Add real cream or half and half. Reheat until temperature is perfect. Pour into soup bowls.
Top with a hefty amount of butter and a dash of paprika for color. Dad always liked it with a glass of cold milk and plenty of crackers.
Me too! Yippee!
