LET’S BEGIN –
ARE IRONS NO LONGER COOL?
I don’t know about you – but I am not, nor have I ever been, a fan of ironing.
However, it’s one of those necessary tasks we gotta do for image and a little pride when our clothes are a little wrinkly coming out of the dryer or hot off the clothes line to get them straightened out.
LOVE this little tool in lieu of an iron and ironing board!
And, I add, I have watched the wardrobe/costume department in the Film Industry for many, many years use this little tool for clothing pieces hanging from a mobile wardrobe rack on set and in the Wardrobe trailer.
No breaking out an ironing board and iron.
I’m thinking if the professionals do — which I know they do — then I’m going to find, buy and put this simple tool to work in my world!

MASSIVE RICE STRAW CREATURES
Wow! Wow! Wow!
These massive ART pieces built out of straw are jaw dropping, picture taking worthy at this field festival!
We can see just how huge they are from a few of the pics where a person(s) is standing nearby.
I don’t have a favorite.
All are blue ribbon winners to me!
What I would love to see is just how these straw artists make these enormous pieces + the manpower + the time it takes.
And what happens to the giant pieces after the outdoor exhibit is finished on October 31?
Gotta be a super interesting watch to see the actual making of …

AIR FRYER BUTTERNUT SQUASH
I love butternut squash!
As a side — is how I’ve always known it to be served.
However, as this recipe reveals the fantastic idea that it’s great on top fall salads as well.
Bonus — in the air fryer with a couple little extra somethings to raise it to an extra-ordinary level.

COTTAGE PIE
Nagi schools us in intro of her recipe —
Shepherd’s pie is made with lamb.
Cottage Pie is made with beef.
Now we know!
I’m totally leaning toward the Cottage Pie version as I’ve never been or become a lamb fan.
Other than petting those cute little woolies.
I come from a large background of cattle feeders in my family.
I also had an aunt and uncle outta Dillon, Montana who were giant sheep raisers.
Beef is my go-to.
So there it is.
Shepherd’s Pie vs. Cottage Pie.
Now we know the low down!

LITTLE BIG SHOTS FUNNIEST INTERVIEWS
WITH STEVE HARVEY
Is hands-down greatness!
Will leave ya smiling from ear to ear.
Give a few minutes for a watch!
I wasn’t disappointed – doubt you will be either. Genuine happiness.
I especially loved the little dude who is mayor of a town and how he and his brother got the mayor titles + the little princess who tells us you don’t always have to have a prince + the very serious Bruce Lee kid who breaks his seriousness in laughter at the end.
Steve Harvey is a gift!

BEAUTIFUL DAY
Today when I awoke, I suddenly realized this is the best day of my life, ever.
There were times when I wondered if I would make it to today; but I did and because I did I’m going to celebrate!
Today, I’m going to celebrate what an unbelievable life I have had so far: the accomplishments, the many blessings, and, yes, even the hardships because they have served to make me stronger.
I will go through this day with my head held high and a happy heart.
I will marvel at God’s seemingly simple gifts: the morning dew, the sun, the clouds, the trees, the flowers, the birds.
Today, none of these miraculous creations will escape my notice.
Today, I will share my excitement for life with other people.
I’ll make someone smile.
I’ll go out of my way to perform an unexpected act of kindness for someone I don’t even know.
Today, I’ll give a sincere compliment to someone who seems down.
I’ll tell a child how special he/she is and I’ll tell someone I love just how deeply I care for them and how much they mean to me.
Today is the day I quit worrying about what I don’t have and start being grateful for all the wonderful things God has already given me.
I’ll remember that to worry is just a waste of time because my faith in God and His divine plan ensures everything will be just fine.
And tonight, before I go to bed, I’ll go outside and raise my eyes to Heaven. I will stand in awe at the beauty of the stars and the moon, and I will praise God for these magnificent treasures.
As the day ends and I lay my head down on my pillow, I will thank the Almighty for the best day of my life.
And I will sleep the sleep of a contented child, excited with expectation because I know tomorrow is going to be the best day of my life — ever.

Little Big Shots interviews with Steve Harvey had me laughing outloud!
Sensational Halloween art! Wow!
And leave it to the Japanese to turn hay into art! Amazing creations
I don’t really mind ironing – once I get out the ironing board and heat up the iron – but I love these hints for smoothing wrinkles with minimal effort. Thank you!
Some of the haunted places are indeed spooky to look out but many of them look so “normal.” I think I will be satisfied to just hear about them. Proof not needed.
Great recipes. Great inspiration via Beautiful Day.
Week is off to a fabulous start!!!

With shorter days upon us, I’m taking out my pure maple syrup plus real butter. Then comes frozen waffles popped into the toaster! Yumo, easy meal. ______ 2) Today’s Daymaker caught my attention when I read, “Air Fryer”. We have one but I need to use it more than I do therefore today’s “AIR FRYER recipe with an easy butter squash recipe is now on my list. Who doesn’t love winter squash?
