HELLO FRIDAY AND HELLO FRIENDS FROM CHERYL CLARSON And it's a Friday the 13th.  I'd never really given 2 thoughts about a Friday the 13th until I had one that will always be in my memory.  You can read it in my meet-and-greet in the ABOUT page on this site.  Anyway, you? Line up for this 5 for Friday is stellar! Beginning with Stephanie's Chic on the Cheap.  Gosh, Steph has it going on with her fabulous insider tips.  Thanks, Steph! Quick Question - Do I personally believe in ghosts?  Not necessarily - but I don't un-believe in them either!  I hope one doesn't ever present itself front-and-center to prove one way or the other.  To my knowledge, I've never fainted, but pretty sure I would in such a situation.  Ha 18 Thoughts is a super cool list.  I don't have a favorite take away.  All are such valuable wisdom.

HELLO AMAZING READERS (!) FROM CHERYL CLARSON September 8 has jumped upon us just like that.  Quick and stealth! In a blink of an eye - it'll be late September.  How time can fly so fast. The cool illustration art piece today are flies for trout fishing.  Any of you out there fly fishermen? It's a BIG DEAL in Montana and an art - the whole fly fishing thing AND big bragging rights among the fly fishermen if you tie your own flies. My son Hunter was born in Livingston, Montana, and we lived there for numerous years.  It's the home (or at least was) of the famous Dan Baily fly-fishing store. Great line-up for today's 5 for Friday: QUICK QUESTION What's the oldest thing I own?  Still considering my final answer.  How about you? STEPHANIE'S CHIC ON THE CHEAP column is (as always) super cool.  What a great DIY project with rustic-cabin-vibe results  Well done, Steph and Rick!

Greetings all!  And Friday. My week was really nice.  Yours? PICTURE LINE UP: #1 See the "shingles"?  Look closely.  They're actually flattened #10 vegetable/fruit cans that have been painted and tacked on to the side of the building.  Super cool! #2 Hello clever re-purposed planter idea outside a candy-shop!  High five. #3 Cool signage on a barrel outside a dining patio.  Thumbs up! #4 1 kitty-cat, 2 kitty-cat, 3 kitty-cat grabbing a piece of sunshine for a little nappy.   Yep, they are my little furry family - meet Streak, Monkey and Kid (Right to Left) Still pondering my answer to the Quick Question regarding ... What's my best story regarding me or someone trying to be sneaky and failed ... Maybe a few.  Ha!  Yours? Dear Annie - has solid advice for Mr. Sexy Senior ... Recipe - STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE is so easy and absolutely hands down the best strawberry shortcake EVER.  Gotta believe me. 5 songs selected for today are chill - pretty - and kinda stick with ya sing-along-songs.  Hope you have a little time to give them a listen. Wednesday greetings, wondrous readers! Presenting Wednesday's Reader. Pop Quiz and Fascinating stuff from Leslie Elman indeed gives material for us to be the most interesting person in the room. And Tracy Beckerman's bug story is one I'm pretty sure most of us can relate to.  I know I can. The Mowie-Wowie chicken teriyaki slider recipe is blue ribbon. Got a smile or twenty-nine?  Pass them around.  They're contagious.  Beautiful.  Gifts. Introducing Dixie Lee - friends for over 30 years - who has come aboard to do social media for Daymaker Readable Art.  Welcome Dixie!  She's a lot of fun (trust me).  Our backstory coming soon... Hello All! It's hump-day or mid-week or whatever we individually call it.  It's Wednesday.  And I present the Wednesday Reader. Tracy Beckerman's column on "Sleeping with the Enemy," is so funny to me.  She's gonna be part of the Wednesday line up from here on out.  Welcome Tracy! Hmmm ... my answer to the question - Easy come, Easy go ... still thinking about it.  You? Poppy Seed dressing is stellar.  I make it and keep it in the fridge for whatever strikes "my fancy" in the warmer/hotter months.  Refreshing. Leslie Ellman's Trivia Bits - Pop Quiz and Fascinating Stuff - remains one of my favorites.  Love it.  Hope you do, too. Friday's issue is gonna be cool!  Posting pics and a little story about attending Scarborough Fair Festival with my friend Laurie.  I cannot believe how fun it was and how I've been missing out for all these years! Hello Readers + fellow Daymakers - January went out with a giant chill - pill that slid into February for a few days.  Sleet - icy roads - brrrr. I was prepared as far as wrapping outdoor + dripping faucets, making sure there were staples for my cat family, wild birds outside the picture window and me for a few days.  All is well. Are you a shopping cart returner or not?  Stephanie Hayes' column in today's issue is a pretty - darn - good - made - ya - think piece.  Be sure to give it a read. Fajita marinade recipe!  Thumbs up.  Get ready to make it over and over and share the recipe - people are gonna be asking for it.
