Well - it happened!  2024 has arrived.  GREETINGS 2024! May the coming year be full of wonderful surprises for all of us. Pretty sure you might be hanging out with friends and family today (as it should be) so this episode will be short and sweet. I do, however, want to share these extraordinary fireworks shows from around the world welcoming in the New Year.

One thing I do want to share with you today is a classic Paul Harvey story - The Man and the Birds.  It's so absolutely worthy of a listen and a think-think-think about the story so well said by the man himself.

Merry Merry! Welcome to Monday exactly one week away from Christmas Day! I enjoyed collecting these gems to share with you. Beginning with -- CREATIVE CHRISTMAS TREE ideas I don't have a favorite.  They're all blue ribbon original greatness to me. INTERESTING PHOTOS is better than scrolling through whatever's on Google feed today.  Can you believe how GIANT the anchor chain of the Titanic was?  Or how thick one (just one) of the cables is that holds up the Golden Gate Bridge?  Crazy! OFFICE ANTICS had me smiling big time.  Pretty sure offices could sure use some harmless fun to keep the 9-5 shift a little more interesting. AI VISUALIZING ALL 50 U.S. STATES as Hunger Game contestants had me scrolling through -- first of all with my home state and my now home state and checking out states my friends live in or came from.  Pretty spot on. RECIPES! HOMEMADE MARSHMALLOWS still time to "whip up" something special in the kitchen for gift giving or impress guests during this "brrr time" of year.  Wonder how these homemade marshmallows would work with the favorite Rice Krispie Treats?  It's a must read through the entire recipe to see all the cool variations etc ... super interesting.

SPANISH POTATO SOUP is so on my list to make this week.  What a great reading recipe.  YUM The FAB-FIVE recipes for gift giving or appetizers are Rock-Star-Status and too intriguing not to seriously consider making. GOT A FIREPLACE?  I didn't know the benefits of this great tip of what to do with the wood ashes scooped out of the fireplace.  Now I do and yes I will. MEET SNAPPER THE CHRISTMAS TREE - Raise your hand if you're a fan of the memorable Christmas ads that find us every season?  Mine's raised.  Wait 'til ya watch this one.  Greatness! SILVER BELLS by Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings is a toe-tapping delightful rendition performance.  It's a must listen.

Greetings Monday and friends - Another excellent line up today! Beginning with: THE KALEIDOSCOPE LIGHT One of the most amazing, small plug-it-in light shows to have being all magic and mesmerizing in a chosen room in the house. BOILED EGG TRICK I sure didn't know this one.  I've always done the lots of salt in the water thing.  Changing lanes now! DISTINCTIVE U.S. ACCENTS Having traveled and worked all around the country - and working with people from all over the country and even other countries - I do recognize and can identify many of these accents immediately.  Has always been intriguing to me.

Good Morning Monday!  Presenting today's gatherings of fun and interestings. Beginning with : DOG ESCAPES SHELTER AND CHOOSES HIS FOREVER HOME - 3 times - persistent little dude! It's such a great, beautiful read.  "Scout's" gotta be a 4 legged angel  -- my opinion. SIZE COMPARISON OF MODERN VEHICLES Is super interesting.  I didn't realize the Space Shuttle was that huge! OLD SOUL PERSONALITY? I ticked most (not all) the boxes.  I like the term "Old Soul" - gotta bit of magic and mischief to it.  Right? 10 WORDS FREQUENTLY MISPRONOUNCED I wish the author hadn't used "idiot" in the title.  Better way to say it.  However, it's a good-to-know list.  I totally have been mispronouncing "OFTEN" all of my years.  Guess I missed that lesson/day at school ha!  From here forward I will never forget that the "T" is silent.

Salutations Readers and hello Monday - brand new start of a week. Hope you had just the kind of weekend you were looking for.  Did you do anything special for Veterans Day? I installed a flag holder and was able to put out the American flag that's been around here for quite a few years.  Lost the old flag holder with the fence when an ice storm took it down a year + ago.  Feels great | Looks great to have it flying in honor of this very important holiday over the weekend. To those who served, are serving and to those who are no longer with us -- "Thank you for your service."  Salute. Collected this Baker's Dozen + 1 of super awesomes for today.

Yo! Daymaker Readers and Yo! Monday - Daylight Savings time happened yesterday.  "Spring Forward - Fall Back."  I think most of us know that little saying or phrase. Save Arizona and Hawaii - they just sit tight and keep their clocks the same because Daylight Savings Time is not observed there - lucky them - ha  (did a super fast research on that via Google - ha). My computer and cell phone did the time change automatically.  I still need to turn all the house clocks and oven digital clock back. Enjoyed finding these fabulous interestings for today. Beginning with the Spectacular Artworks on an Australian beach.  They are nothing less than HUGE, CREATIVE, WHIMSICAL MASTERPIECES.  "Good on ya, Artists!" Wish I could've kicked off my shoes and walked along the sandy beach and viewed all up close and personal. Perhaps next time.  Hello, Bucket List!

Hello-Hello! FROM CHERYL Gosh! did you see that just happen?  October came in (seems like only a week ago) and is now one day away from being *poof* gone until next year. We've had plenty of rain - always needed and welcomed + fall has totally fallen today.  It's super chilly!  I've got a feeling we'll be seeing trees turn their leaves into some pretty colors in the very near future. Totally fun collection of Halloween interestings for this last Monday in October and day-before-Halloween.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! Welcome Monday beginning of a fresh new week.  Hope you enjoyed your weekend. The weather here is still perfect-o. Rolled out my hoodie collection and am enjoying wearing them again. Love having the doors and windows popped open and crisp fresh air filling the house.  That and hearing all my fabulous chimes doing their thing through the openings.
