It's Monday and today finds me well + happy. Our weekend weather was my idea of perfect-o.  My cats were totally feeling it too.  Zooming around kicking up their heels - running, chasing, playing.  Made me laugh! Not sure if you've noticed or not - but we've been doing some "re-decorating" sort of thing on Daymaker Readable Art site: The ads that were a total distraction and annoying are gone! Share buttons! New artwork that finds you in the email box on Monday, Wednesday, Friday.  Subscribe and see it!  We'll be changing it out from time to time for a fresh and new cool piece of artwork in the email greetings. Clean-up of typos and little glitches that existed. Friendlier navigation throughout the site. Greetings Readers (!) It's Monday, the 2nd day of October!  Months are flying by for sure. Cool art illustration today is from the cover of Life Magazine, October 26 , 1911.  Count forward from 1911 to 2023.  That's a bit of a count.  It's a beautiful, timeless, old school piece of art. Collected these fabulous finds today for enjoyment: I'd have to say my favorite new word added to the official dictionary in the month of September would be -- Jump Scare.  Instead of "Punked ya" or "Boo"  -- new phrase I'll be using -- Just "Jump Scared" ya.

How was your weekend?  All good around here.  Uneventful.  Often times - that's my favorite report from a weekend. Size comparison of sea creatures -- uhhh-uhhh-uhh!  I think they're super cool and I love that they're in the deep blue ocean.  I've had people say to me, "Have ya ever been on a 7 day cruise?"

HELLO LABOR DAY | FIRST MONDAY IN SEPTEMBER + HAPPY READERS FROM CHERYL CLARSON Check out these delightful nuggets I picked for today. I think the Google Map pic showing the cat might be my favorite in that picture line-up. The giant articulating dogs are just soooo soooo cool.  Wish I could see that in person.  Look at all the "players" it takes to operate those giant dogs. Oh, Blockbuster and mom and pop video stores - how I miss you!  Cute little snails take us on a few little memory lane trips. After this hot summer - I definitely have dry patches that I'm gonna plant some grass seed and now I have the notes on how to do it.  So do you.

The last weekend in August 2023. I'm not gonna lie - I am not sad about it being the last weekend of August.  Gosh it's been screaming hot here (everywhere, I understand) and I feel like we've been riding a bucking horse straight outta the shoot and hanging on for the buzzer (the buzzer meaning fall is just right over there.  Hang on!). I had a super fun Saturday.  Went to Autonomous Society's one year celebration mark.  Check them out here.

Greetings! Monday and also the last day of July.  August will be arriving tomorrow. I'm looking forward to one month from tomorrow -- September -- meaning fall is on its way and cooler temps! Shouldn't wish time passing a whole month fast.  I'm guilty.  Because I do.  Ha Found this dozen for today.  Hope you enjoy.  I sure think they're super fun! H*E*L*L*O !!  FRIENDS Thanks for popping in today -- grateful! Brand new start of the week.  What are you gonna do with yours? I'm making my list of intentions and will tag it to the 'fridge and check off tasks as I (hopefully -- motivation stick with me, please - :)) accomplish. Among them will be power washing deck and sidewalks ( oh joy -- eye roll ).  But it sure will look pretty and feel wonderful when it's finished and in the rear view mirror. The 12 chosen for today's episode:
