5 for FRIDAY | NOVEMBER 10
Greetings Beautiful Readers and Happy Friday !
Another stellar line up this 5 for FRIDAY beginning with:
STEPHANIE'S CHIC ON THE CHEAP column.
As always, Steph brings her innate fashion expertise to us! Fortunate us - she writes exclusively for Daymaker Readable Art.
The SPANX leather looking leggings are the bomb-a-reno! Love that they're so versatile - tennis shoes, boots, sweatshirt, dressy shirt, and BONUS they keep any jiggle-wiggles tucked in!
I'm gravitating toward the tennis shoe look with the SPANX leggings. That's me.
My sisters, have said to me more than a handful of times, "Cher, do you have any other shoes in your closet besides tennis shoes and Birkenstocks or flip-flops?"
I say, "Yeah, of course." They say, "Time to break 'em out." HA!
As soon as I finish plugging in today's episode -- I'm going to look for a pair of these SPANX leather looking leggings for MOI. Starting with Steph's tip of checking out Ebay first!
Thank you, Steph, for keeping us in the know with your tried-and-true insider info!
QUICK QUESTION - What could someone figure out about me by the friends I've chosen?
My answer -- positive, happy people who are laid back and easy to be around. You?

5 for FRIDAY | NOVEMBER 3
HEY-HEY, AWESOME READERS!
Presenting 5 for Friday!
Stephanie's Chic on the Cheap column isn't in the line-up. She's a super busy lady and time didn't permit her to write her column for today's episode.
She asked that I relay to Daymaker Readers that Stephanie's Chic on the Cheap will be back next Friday and she's working on an exciting column about her new found discovery of Spanx faux leather leggings! Sounds like a wanna-be-in-the-know about these Spanx leggings to me!
Steph always keeps us in the cool-kids-fashion-club. Thanks, girl!
Here's our fun episode today:

5 for FRIDAY | OCTOBER 27
Greetings wonderful readers! Happy Friday!
Only 4 days until the fun-magic-eve when kids dress up and do the trick or treat thing. Do you get trick-or-treaters? I don't. But I always buy a bag of candy in case the doorbell rings and I won't disappoint.
Great line-up today:
Beginning with Stephanie's Chic on the Cheap ideas for pairing a flannel shirt with these super innovative fashion ideas!
Using a hair flat iron to quickly iron the button up part of a shirt? LOVE IT!
And, yes, I love a flannel shirt - and, yes, I am totally gonna do and wear all 3 of Steph's ideas this fall and winter. Beginning with the leopard print under a flannel to bring out the "flanimal" in my day!

5 for FRIDAY | OCTOBER 20

5 for FRIDAY | OCTOBER 13
HELLO FRIDAY AND HELLO FRIENDS
FROM CHERYL CLARSON
And it's a Friday the 13th. I'd never really given 2 thoughts about a Friday the 13th until I had one that will always be in my memory. You can read it in my meet-and-greet in the ABOUT page on this site. Anyway, you?
Line up for this 5 for Friday is stellar!
Beginning with Stephanie's Chic on the Cheap. Gosh, Steph has it going on with her fabulous insider tips. Thanks, Steph!
Quick Question - Do I personally believe in ghosts? Not necessarily - but I don't un-believe in them either! I hope one doesn't ever present itself front-and-center to prove one way or the other. To my knowledge, I've never fainted, but pretty sure I would in such a situation. Ha
18 Thoughts is a super cool list. I don't have a favorite take away. All are such valuable wisdom.

5 for FRIDAY | OCTOBER 6
Presenting 5 for FRIDAY's read this October 6.
We had a crazy storm that blew through here Wednesday night. Not just "a" storm but the threat of a possible tornado in the area.
Felt a little like a white knuckle ride -- as the tornado sirens were heard loudly in the night - warnings of take cover sort of thing - this is not a test. YIKES!
My wonderful neighbors = friends had me in their thoughts. Texting or calling -- "get in the bathroom," "make sure you have your running shoes on and your purse close ... in case ..." "Are you okay?"
"Copy." "Copy." "Yes." were my responses via text.
My little freeloaders (aka cats) were less than impressed with the lock-down time in the bathroom -- but they're over it now. They have short-term memories. Ha!
Torrential rain, crazy wind, etc ...
Long story short - tornado blew over our part of the world with no damage and went whipping away somewhere else. Hopefully back up in the sky where it started!
Today's line-up is packed full of happy:

5 for FRIDAY | SEPTEMBER 29
HELLO SPECTACULAR READERS
from Cheryl Clarson
Presenting Friday September 29 Episode. Welcome.
Have a great line up today!
Beginning with the pics:
#1
Peppers and Papayas. That's a lot of fun to say. I feel stuffed peppers for dinner in my future!
#2
The coolest, thriving mass planting of horse-tail reed I've ever seen. This is a small picture piece of how this planting was growing at a Hyatt Regency resort here in Texas. It was at least 2 blocks long. Spectacular. Impressive. I LOVE this plant. Yes, it's invasive (think bamboo) but it's such a cool plant kept under watch. I have several at my home - but in planters, so they don't wander where they please.
#3
Sandwich pic - I think we'll name it the ham-zing-a-roonie! This sandwich is delicious! How to assemble it is in this episode. Make it. Doubt you'll be disappointed. I know I'm not and those I have made it for either.

5 for FRIDAY | SEPTEMBER 22
GREETINGS FRIENDS AND HELLO FRIDAY!
FROM CHERYL CLARSON
Welcome to 5 for Friday on this Friday September 22 -- day before the official day of the Autumn Equinox!
I don't know what the last day of summer is doing in your part of the world -- but here -- Summer is not going out without a very well noted reminder that She is Summer and she is hot. It's super warm here today.
Today's line up is a lot of fun:

5 for FRIDAY | SEPTEMBER
HELLO AMAZING READERS (!)
FROM CHERYL CLARSON
September 8 has jumped upon us just like that. Quick and stealth!
In a blink of an eye - it'll be late September. How time can fly so fast.
The cool illustration art piece today are flies for trout fishing. Any of you out there fly fishermen?
It's a BIG DEAL in Montana and an art - the whole fly fishing thing AND big bragging rights among the fly fishermen if you tie your own flies.
My son Hunter was born in Livingston, Montana, and we lived there for numerous years. It's the home (or at least was) of the famous Dan Baily fly-fishing store.
Great line-up for today's 5 for Friday:
QUICK QUESTION
What's the oldest thing I own? Still considering my final answer. How about you?
STEPHANIE'S CHIC ON THE CHEAP
column is (as always) super cool. What a great DIY project with rustic-cabin-vibe results Well done, Steph and Rick!

5 for FRIDAY | SEPTEMBER 1
September has arrived - hooray!
It's still hot during the day - but this morning it was 71*. I popped open doors and windows for about an hour until temps climbed quickly back in the 90s.
Ahhhhh - fresh air! While it lasted. More 70s to come - now that it's September!
PICTURE LINE UP:
#1
Humming bird feeder - I've been watching the little humming birds from my kitchen window. So.Much.Fun. They are totally enjoying the red nectar. And when one finishes - off it goes - and another comes in. Then, there's the part where they like to chase one another to see who's fastest to get back to the feeder. Joy!
#2
Flowering maple plant - stunning. At my mom's in her garden room.

5 FOR FRIDAY | AUGUST 25
QUICK QUESTION
What do you do when you hear something fall in the middle of the night when you're in bed?
I do a big gulp, get out of bed - because I just gotta know where that noise came from. To date - it's usually cat related. HA
STEPHANIE'S CHIC ON THE CHEAP
never disappoints with all of her cool fashion ideas! And egg cartons for storing tiny little necklaces? Fabulous idea! I'm on it.
#4 PICTURE
A book for sale at an outdoor venue. I had to laugh. Because - I surely won't laugh at a live dragon should I see one.
SWEET AND TART TARRAGON CHICKEN SALAD
recipe is delicious. Different - and I feel pretty confident won't disappoint. Give it a try.

5 for FRIDAY | AUGUST 18
Today I will be attending my nephew Jared and his new bride, Clarissa's, wedding! Whoop! Whoop!
Gonna be a grand celebration from what I understand. Lots of planning. Lots of family on both sides. Food. Drinks. Dancing. Laughter. Perfect in every way.
